ARRANGE A VISIT
We thoroughly enjoy sharing our school with people. It is very satisfying to witness a growing realisation that The Chalfonts challenges many preconceptions of classrooms, curriculum and ethos.
You are cordially invited to visit at a time to suit you and we will we devote sufficient time to answer all questions and ensure you have a good understanding of our school and its ethos.
Our next Open Events are on Tuesday 16th October 09:30-12 and Wednesday 17th October 18:30-20:30.
See the school this term on a Welcome Wednesday. These run on selected Wednesdays from 10:00am – 11:00am. You will be able to see our students in class, have a tour of the college and meet the team.
Organise a visit, a place at a Welcome Wednesday or Open Day by emailing our Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the form on our contact page.
We look forward to welcoming you our school!
All prospective students are interviewed by the Principal, and sit a computerised test to determine their abilities in English and Mathematics, as well as their overall aptitude.
Students are invited to bring in an object, picture or photograph that they would like to talk about during the interview. The interviewer will refer to the student’s questionnaire so we can ensure that each student can follow their own interests at the school. The computerised testing, as well as the student’s current school report, will also be taken into consideration before offering a place.

HOW TO APPLY
If you are considering applying to The Chalfonts, do please come and visit us. A website and prospectus give only a fraction of the full picture and we thoroughly enjoy showing prospective parents and students around what we consider to be an exceptional and welcoming school.
Request a prospectus, arrange a visit and come and see the school.
Return the completed forms to our Registrar at email@example.com together with a copy of the latest school report and any other information you think might be helpful for us to place your child correctly. The form and accompanying documents can also be sent by post to:
Chalfont St Giles
Bucks HP8 4AD
with a non-refundable £90.00 registration.
We will then invite you for a day at The Chalfonts which will include an assessment and interview. Prior to this we will send an Applicant Questionnaire for completion and return.
Once the admission tests and interview are successfully completed, the Registrar will send applicants an outcome letter. If a place is offered and accepted, we will request a deposit of £750, payable against the first term’s fees.
Full documentation including Joining Instructions will be sent to you once the deposit has been paid and you are now a part of The Chalfonts.
